One of my favorite design features in our new home is our upstairs laundry room. It’s not just about the size of the space or the fancy washers and dryers – what makes me love this space are all the finishes and the fact that it is perfectly placed in our home. Our laundry room sits just off the master bedroom closet, which is just off the master bath. It also opens to our upstairs hallway so the girls can get their laundry done too. It’s so handy that I haven’t even finished our downstairs laundry room. Brilliant plan – thank you, architect!

Decking the Halls in Our Master Bedroom

This was the first year that I have decorated our master bedroom. In the past, I always found some cute trees for the kids and made sure their rooms were festive and fun but never the master bedroom. This year I decided it was a perfect time to start with ours!

Welcome Home for the Holidays

This is our first Christmas in our new home! Decking the halls brings on a fresh meaning when you are decorating a new space for the first time. It is great fun placing the decorations you have had for years. Unlike the past, I keep adding more pieces as I find them. While I have so many ideas for the future, I am trying to stay present in this year.
