Let's Talk Mudrooms Today!

Hi everyone! I am hoping this message finds you slowly rolling back into this “new normal” life. I am busy finishing interiors on one project and just beginning the building process on another so, my building and creative design energy are in full tilt!

One of the things I have been working on is a mudroom. Not just useful, these spaces can also be so fun to design. Mudrooms have become more and more elaborate as the years have gone by. That said, you may not have the space to put a fabulous mudroom in our home. So I wanted to share some ideas on mudrooms that might find a way into your home.

On my most recent remodel project, there was no space near the front door for a mudroom. So, I used an oversized hallway to fit the bill. I had a carpenter create the cabinet and then added shiplap in the cubbies for an extra design element. This is an inexpensive way to get a mudroom space that will be useful and pretty.
